Check out the safety tips to ensure while you are sailing on the boat:

Equipment: Always ensure you are carrying tool kit for minor repairs and always wear proper boating gears and carry oxygen cylinder.
Weather: Before you plan your boating trip, make a quick research about weather predictions and in case you see the cloudy sky it’s better to follow the safety measures.

You need to have all the basic requirements on board, in case you plan to sail a little further from the shore may be a small island or so, do ensure that your boat is equipped with VHF Radio.
